These are some hydrophone recordings i made for a game-jam project. Since the project was nothing but good fun, i have uploaded some of the more useful sounds to freesound. Org for everyone to use.
Old style digital explosions, three very slow. Sounds like either depth charges or above ground explosions similar to those in the missile command video game, with long digitally crackled ringouts.
Shoes stepping on a tiled floor. A loud squeaky sound is made as the shoes step on the floor. Recorded with a zoom h6 and a stereo microphone (rode ntg2).
Stepping on a creaky spot of a wooden floor, recorded with a roland-r26. Let me know if you need 4 channels (from directional and omnidirectional mics), this is a stereo mix of both.
Dropped a plastic bottle over some plastic sandals, recorded this with a phone and wo mic to record directly to my computer inside audacity and edited noise out. Use it freely no need to attribute anything.
This is a sound that my wooden floor makes in a certain side of the room. I edited it and i added some depth to it to add a kind of a creepy vibe to it.
Parquet floor creaking - cautious steps of someone entering an old house. There are 2 takes with a non-edited hard join in the middle of the sample. Recording with rode ntg3 on zoom h6 in an old flat in barcelona. No edit.
Experimenting with reverb and frequency on my "meaty gunshot. Wav" sfx resulted in this; hopefully this conveys the audible sense that the gunshot is being fired underwater. Created and edited with audacity.
